Coverage reports

A coverage report turns a word you are watching into a document: what ran, where, and how it compares with the period before, with room to write what it means. It is a snapshot, so whatever happens to those stories later, the report keeps what it found.

The last step of monitoring is always a document. Somebody senior asks what the coverage looked like, and the answer has to travel: a summary, the numbers, the stories, and a line of judgement from the person who watched it happen. Inkline now writes the first three and leaves the fourth to you, in a report generated from a watched word’s coverage and saved under Library, then Reports.

Reports are frozen on purpose. A live dashboard changes under you; a report is evidence of what the coverage was on the day you sent it. Coverage reports are part of Inkline Pro.
