1.4

Inkline goes free to use. The free tier covers reading and the offline reader for up to 50 publications, notes, search, widgets and Voices; Inkline Pro gathers the monitoring toolkit: monitors, watchwords, spoken briefings, the written Brief and Compare Coverage analysis, and unlimited publications, from £2.99 a month with a week free. New in this release: Inkline Radio, a spoken briefing generated on the phone in a natural British voice; the Watch tab and watchwords for flagging clients, competitors and spokespeople; full article text in the reader for more sources; a customisable Today page; and Voices now lives at the top of Search.

1.3

See how a story travels. The coverage view becomes a timeline: who broke a story, who followed and when, and whether it is one wire recycled or coverage genuinely gaining traction, with an on-device Apple Intelligence read of how the framing shifts as it spreads (on supported devices). New Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets: Latest, Coverage and Trending. Import your feeds from another reader with OPML, and start fresh anytime from Settings. Performance improvements throughout.

1.2: The Editorial Update

The publication directory arrives: 800+ sources across 50+ countries, hand-checked. Unified search across publications, desks and journalists. Voices rebuilt as a newsroom directory. "Also covered by" story comparison. Front Page becomes the default view, monitors made more reliable, and an editorial redesign drawn from the ink-and-ripple mark: the navy signature, the masthead, and a typography-first reader with three typefaces including OpenDyslexic.

1.1

Inkline becomes a universal iPhone and iPad app. iPad adds a Today front page, a landscape reading workspace, handwritten Apple Pencil notes and desktop-class input with keyboard shortcuts, pointer and drag and drop. "Set up with AI" onboarding and a refreshed ink-drop identity across both devices.
