Numbers for every watched word

Every watched word now carries its own numbers: volume over time, share of voice, the publications driving it, and a flag when the line jumps. Measured on your device, from coverage you already have.

A watched keyword’s numbers: mentions by day, top publications and a surge flag

A count is the difference between a feeling and a finding. Twenty-six mentions across eight publications this week, against nothing the week before, is a sentence you can put in front of a client; a busy-looking feed is not. Inkline computes these figures on the device from the stories your monitors and publications have already gathered, so there is no analytics service and nothing to configure.

The surge flag is deliberately blunt: it fires when today’s pace runs well above the period’s, which is exactly the moment a comms person wants a nudge rather than a chart. The full numbers sit one tap behind it. Part of Inkline Pro.
