A watchword flags stories instead of hiding them: clients, competitors, spokespeople. When a term you watch appears in an arriving story, the story is marked, gathered in the Watch tab, and can notify you.
Mute rules make noise disappear. Watchwords do the opposite job: they answer a question you set. The Watch tab collects every catch in one place, and the count shown is how many stories the term caught, a fact about the term rather than a badge nagging you to clear it.
Matching happens once, when a story arrives, and the result is stamped on the story itself. Rename or delete the rule later and the record of what was true at the time survives. Watchwords are part of Inkline Pro, alongside monitors.
