On iPad, Inkline becomes a landscape reading workspace with a Today front page, keyboard shortcuts, pointer support and handwritten Apple Pencil notes attached to articles.
The iPad version is not a stretched phone app. It has its own Today front page, a landscape layout built for reading at desk distance, and desktop-class input: keyboard shortcuts, pointer, drag and drop.
The Pencil is the distinctive part. Notes are handwritten in the margin of the article they belong to, the way people actually annotate briefing packs, and they stay attached to the story for later retrieval.
